This qualification covers the skills and knowledge required to grow and produce higher quality vegetables based on market requirements, and produce vegetables seeds for personal use or re-sale with efficient use of resources, contributing towards
a sustainable agriculture in Fiji.

Basic farming experience.
Credit may be granted towards this qualification by those who have completed National Certificate 2 in Nursery Production or other relevant qualifications.
Upon successfully completing the course, the graduates are expected to develop skills and knowledge to:
- Safely use farm tools, equipment and machinery for the production of vegetables.
- Establish and maintain a vegetable seedling nursery unit.
- Identify potential farm sites which can be prepared to produce quality vegetables.
- Harvest, process and sell locally produced seeds.
- Safely use and store Agro Chemicals presently available and used by farmers in Fiji
This qualification will offer you a good opportunity to enter the professional domain as a Commercial Farmer, Farm Manager, Vegetable Growing Service Advisor.
